Generating twitter update in png format:
This is very much simple… Just do as follows…
- Go to the TWIIMG homepage.
- Now simply enter your Twitter Username [like mine is swashata] into the big text box and hit the “Generate” button.
- It will generate your tweet into 5 styles…
Choose the one you like; - Now simple click on the “Show codes” button and it will show you the relevant code of the style you have selected.
Copy the HTML code for pasting in websites or Blogs and the vBulletin for putting in forums… You will also get a link to the direct image URL for hot linking…
Well that was easy isn’t it?
Some drawbacks:
Although this service seems to be useful enough, but still it lacks some features…
- Only one tweet is shown on the image… There could have been options for loading multiple tweets.
- The twitter image styles are not that much that much impressive. But with respect to the size of the image file, it seems to be fair enough to generate such simple images.
- Sometimes it fails to generate some of the styles
